Big medal haul for Durbanville Wine Valley at Veritas

Durbanville Wine Valley achieved a remarkable feat at South Africa’s oldest and most authoritative wine competition this year. Our tiny ward of 12 farms collected no less than 73 medals at the Veritas Awards 2011!

Equally noteworthy was the spread of the medals. Although traditionally known for its excellent sauvignon blanc, the ward cemented its reputation as a quality producer across a diversity of varietals by winning gold medals in categories for rosé, méthode cap classique (MCC), red blends, merlot and pinotage. Read More
