Season of Sauvignon @ Altydgedacht

Cost of picnic: R225.00 for 2 people and includes a bottle of our 2009 Sauvignon Blanc

Join us at the picturesque Altydgedacht for a farm-style picnic basket for 2 persons which includes a bottle of Altydgedacht Sauvignon Blanc 2009. (R225.00)

Snacks and food for kids will be on sale.

Free wine tasting at the cellar, live music, open vehicle vineyard tours and jumping castles for the kids.

Blanc & Blues @ Bloemendal

Date: Saturday 3 October 2009 and Sunday 4 October 2009

Time: Saturday from 11h00 until midnight & Sunday from 11h00 until 18h00

Bloemendal is hosting their popular Blanc & Blues Festival. Enjoy a really festive weekend with great live bands, sensational Sauvignon Blanc, sushi bars & other food stalls. Lots of entertainment for the kids.

Saturday's line up include Boulevard Blues, Cannon, Stremes, Dale Collins Band, Chattanooga to mention a few ...., fire shows and comedy acts. Sunday promises a line up of bands like Akkadis, Gerald Clark, Basson Laubsher, Dikazzins and many more.

D'Aria Music Festival

Sat & Sun: No Entrance Fee, you determine what you spend at various stalls

At D'Aria this jam packed weekend kicks off on Friday night with a Winemaker & Friends event where Winemaker, Rudi von Waltzleben & Gerald Clark will entertain you with their live music.

The price per person is R100 and includes a Cheese Platter & a 250ml bottle of D’Aria Newly Released Sauvignon Blanc 2009

On Saturday and Sunday you can come and enjoy the festive atmosphere at the D'Aria Poplars Restaurant's Prawns Festival. Enjoy great live music, a wide variety of food stalls, wine tasting and lots more. Relax and treat yourself to a fun day with good friends.

Savouring Sauvignon @ De Grendel

De Vallei Food & Wine Festival

Spend a fun filled Saturday & Sunday at De Vallei farm in the format of a mini Food & Wine Festival. Come & enjoy wine tasting with the winemaker, feast on the various food stalls offering cheese, sushi, olives, Belgian Chocolate and many more. The day is suitable for the whole family with live music, kids entertainment and tractor rides in the vineyards.

Diamonds at Diemersdal

Date: Saturday 3 October 2009 and Sunday 4 October 2009

Come and enjoy the music of Neil Diamond, treasure hunt in the vineyards for a real diamond, drink diamond award wines and be a diamond (best friend)!!!! at Diemersdal Estate. A delectable selection of food will be on offer at the various food stalls. A day suitable for the whole family with live music, horse carriage rides, mountain bike trails and hiking in the vineyards.

Season of Sauvignon @ Durbanville Hills

Taste sensational Sauvignon Blancs & sushi at Durbanville Hills! Enjoy a fun filled weekend with good music, great food and excellent wine at the annual Durbanville Wine Valley Season of Sauvignon. While enjoying the panoramic views of Table Mountain and Table Bay treat yourself to fine Sauvignon Blancs and relax to the sounds of the Shen Trio performing Latin, jazz and rock renditions. Entertainment for the kids includes facepainting and sand art. A delicious selection of food stalls, including fresh sushi, wine and cool drinks will be on sale. * Durbanville Sauvignon Wine Ferry destination!

Rock it out@ Hillcrest Quarry

Date: Saturday 3 October 2009 and Sunday 4 October 2009

Time: Gates open at 10h00 and shows start at 11h00

Cost: R40 per person includes concert for the day.
R100 per person includes a tasting glass and a bottle of Hillcrest Sauvignon Blanc 2009.
Children under 12 enter for free.

Come and enjoy a fun filled day of live music on the sprawling lawns in the beautifully refurbished quarry at Hillcrest. A line up of fantastic bands are on offer i.e. The Louise Day Band, Chasing Friday, 12th Avenue, Bad Apple, Skyeclad & Bienyameen to name just a few. A day suitable for the whole family with wine tasting, blind tastings, jumping castle, face painting and food stalls (including abalone) and exciting helicopter flips (R300 per person) around the Wine Valley.

Enjoy Boerejol & Sauvignon Blanc at Meerendal!

This weekends festivities kicks off on Friday evening with 'Boerejol' dinner and dance in the Barn & Lawn, with lots of freshly baked bread, boerekos & salad and a traditional dessert buffet. DJ Riaan will keep you dancing till the early hours of the morning. Cost is R145.00 per person.

Saturday from 10h30 onwards enjoy 'Boeresport' for the whole family, R50.00 includes all games, a 'boerewors' roll & a glass of Meerendal Sauvignon Blanc or juice for the kids. Bookings Essential.

Saturday & Sunday we will have delicious picnics on offer. The cost is R200 / 2 persons and includes a bottle of Meerendal Sauvignon Blanc. Kids can also enjoy a basket for R100 / 2 which includes a juice.

Saturday & Sunday the Bistro Restaurant will offer special lunch time dishes on the menu to perfectly partner the Meerendal Sauvignon Blanc.
